Position:
Business Development Director
Location: Santa Clara
Job Grade: Exempt
Through the development and implementation of a business
development plan and value proposition to clients and
strategic partners, the Business Development Director is
accountable for securing sales and profit growth to
deliver on the targets set for the overall region.
Essential Job Functions

Develop diverse

Assess territory and
create an annual business plan

minimum revenue targets

Represent event
production and staging solutions to prospective
clients

Maintain the highest
levels of client services and integrity as an
extension of AVT

Grow client alignment
through delivery of value proposition by providing
ongoing assessment of needs including but not
limited to conducting needs analysis, monitoring
project timelines, collaboration with strategic
partners, and event production and staging
assessments.

Aligns clients by
managing activities that support Company initiatives
and further brand positioning and market share
within the territory.

Develop annual
business plans in conjunction with clients and
partners.

Responsible for
managing positive client relationships by addressing
complaints and facilitating client relationships
with the Event Production team.

knowledge of personal computers (Microsoft Office,
Email)

Excellent written and
verbal communication skills

Ability to travel
overnight as needed
