TITLE: Account Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY/ PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Develop and continue to strengthen favorable relationships with new and existing clients. Collaborate with team members to ensure that AVT consistently is Delivering a Superior Event Experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • As a representative of AVT management, provide highest level of integrity, professionalism and customer service when dealing with customers, vendors, and AVT team members.
  • Work with the fellow account management and business development team members to develop and execute a comprehensive, creative and innovative sales strategy to ensure growth in sales, profit and expansion of company service offerings. Meet or exceed minimum quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  •  Provide the highest levels of customer satisfaction by engaging assigned clients with an ongoing needs analysis to capture specific opportunities and suggest solutions offered as part of AVT’s service portfolio.
  •  Coordinate the event handoff with assigned production managers and collaborate to ensure they are providing the information as needed to all pertinent internal and external parties. Work with production management to standardize sales practices and assist with any additional sales needs on an event by event basis.
  • Maintain relationship with clients to ensure that all steps have been taken to have a successful event including giving any pre-event assistance as needed, meet and greet clients before event and follow up with client post event.
  • Follow up with production management to critique each event and find solutions to any problems that may have come up. Approve, submit and review final invoice with client. Forecast future event revenue based on prior experience and future opportunities.

  • Effective prospecting, negotiating, proposal writing and delivering presentations
  • Consultative value add sales capabilities for all levels of client contacts
  • Strong written/verbal communication and public contact
  • Effective teamwork, leadership, motivational, and problem solving
  • Managing multiple priorities and project management
  • Detail oriented with ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Business software proficient especially with MS Office Suite and CRM systems

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree or equivalent business experience preferred
  • Six plus years of audio visual staging and event production sales experience to end users
  •  Experience selling to Fortune 100-1000 diverse industry verticals

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Flexibility to meet occasional early morning, late evening and weekend commitments
  • Ability to travel overnight and or out of town as required
  • Consent to and ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clear driving record
  • Agreement to executing a Non Disclosure Agreement
